4. How much do you charge? What is your pricing structure?
Some maintenance tasks we offer as an all-inclusive flat fee(incl. time, parts and materials). We will update this on the website to reflect current offerings.
Other requests during normal operating hours we charge an initial service call fee of $250, which is paid at the time you confirm your appointment.
This $250 fee includes:
The $100 service call fee + 1 hour min @ $150/hr.
Travel to your location within our service area.
Any applicable preparation for your appointment.
And up to one hour of labor, including diagnostics, repairs, and/or maintenance.
After the first hour we charge our hourly rate of $150, billed in 30-minute increments. We use an RV industry standard flat-rate guide where applicable to estimate the time needed for most common repairs, and we will always discuss the expected completion time and cost with you before we begin any major repair work.
Parts, materials and sales tax are additional.
For certain special-order parts a deposit will be required.
The final balance is due at the time of job completion and can be paid with a credit/debit card or cash.
Cancellation Policy: We request a 48hour notice of cancellation for refund of the service call fee. If you need to cancel within the 48hour window, we will apply your payment to a rescheduled appointment.
5. How quickly can you come out?
Our normal service hours are Monday-Saturday, 8am-5pm.
We understand the importance of getting you back on track and enjoying your RV again as quickly as possible. For standard service calls, we can typically schedule your appointment within a few business days.
6. Emergency Service
We do offer emergency service for urgent issues requiring attention outside of our normal hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm).
After-hours service has an additional flat fee of $125.
This is usually best suited for arrival or departure situations needing immediate attention like leveling/jack problems, malfunctioning extensions (slides, toppers, awnings), complete power failure, no-response to tow vehicle connector, etc.
Please note: We are not an emergency roadside service. If you've blown a tire or have had some other emergency incident resulting in an abrupt halt to your RV's mobility you should contact your insurance roadside assistance or a dedicated roadside recovery service to address your immediate needs to get you to your destination or at least a safe location. Eric can assess any coach related issues resulting from the incident after your RV has been moved to a safe location (resort, campground, driveway, storage unit, etc)
7. Do you carry parts on your truck?
Yes, we do try to keep some parts handy for common RV repairs. This allows us to fix many problems in a single visit. If your RV needs specific parts that we don't have in stock, we will order them for you. There is no additional service call fee for any return visit to complete a repair/service in progress - just the applicable labor rate.
*For some replacements and part orders we will require a deposit before ordering.
8. Can you work with my warranty or insurance company?
Our policy is simple: customers pay us directly for our services and materials at the time the job is completed.
We do not work with warranty or insurance companies at this time. We also do not process pre-approvals or authorizations.
9. Why should I choose a mobile technician instead of taking my RV to a dealership?
A mobile technician is able to offer three huge benefits: convenience, speed, and personal service.
Convenience: We come to you! You don’t have to waste time and fuel packing up and moving your RV to a shop. We can service your rig at your home, resort, or storage lot.
Speed: The volume handled by a dealership can result in waitlists that are weeks or even months long. We can typically get to you within a few days, solving your problem much faster.
Personal Service: With us, you are speaking directly to the owners. Eric is the actual technician who will be working on your RV, and he is certified to do so. We promise unparalleled communication and service that is focused completely on you and your rig.
10. What do I need to do to prepare for your visit?
To help Eric get to work quickly and safely, you can prepare for his visit by:
Making sure your RV is accessible with enough room for him to work around it.
Having your RV connected to any corresponding utility associated with the service call. (water, electric, sewer)
Securing any pets so they are safe and comfortable during the visit.
Having your RV’s make, model, and VIN number handy when you call us or submit your service request online.
Notify your front office/gate house of our appointment. Eric always stops to let them know he will be onsite but letting them know ahead of time of his arrival is helpful and appreciated.
